Yep, another year has passed, but we have the gift of a brand New Year Today! I'm excited about the prospects and I'm happy to be back here on my blog. Believe it or not, I'm entering my third year here. It's been a lot of fun. I've learned a lot. Above all this blog has helped me to stick my goals and dreams. It's an annual ritual for me to look back over the year, review my journals, and check progress on my goals and dreams. I've been busy doing that in recent days.
As I mentioned in my first post on January 1, 2005 I started this blog for a number of reasons: 1) Write more frequently in an organized way; 2) Connect with my friends more frequently; 3) Achieve my New Year resolutions (which I faithfully make, and do keep), and; 4) Show more of my photography.
A lot has happened since then and I am happy to say I have moved forward and made major progress on all fronts. I remain committed to my 2005 resolution to exercise each day for 30-60-minutes. I don't always have time to exercise, and this year I chose to take a couple months off from exercise, blogging, and a number of projects to avoid burn-out - but the majority of the time, I do exercise. I'm going to stick with my exerise resoution 2007: to exercise for at least 30-minutes each day by biking, walking, swimmng, gardening, playing tennis, doing Yoga, stretching, and working out with weights or my Total Gym. It's a lifelong habit that I began as a kid. Personally, I don't like to make resolutions, finish them and move on - they're with me for life!
That's part of the message I'm trying to communicate through my resolution project, which I started back in 2004, and I'm happy to say is progressing. In 2006 I started a blog dedicated specifically to my resolution project, IResolveTo.Com. I began my resolution proejct in 2004-2005 with the intention using myself/my exercise resolution as a case-study. It's part of a book that I'm writing about how to make and keep resolutions, dreams, and goals. This year, in 2007, I'm happy to say I'll publish the EBook, Book and Audiobook!
In 2006 I also started a blog dedicated to my photography. That has been a lot of fun as well, and I'm looking forward to getting back to daily photo posts.
Thankfully my business is strong and my freinds and family are well. I count my blessings each and every day and I look forward to 2007 with great hope and optimism. As for now, I think it's time to get off here and relax. Better 'get to it'!
